AIM Inc. was formed by a separation of the Flemingdon Medical
Laboratories computer department (see below). Held position of Secretary
on Board of Directors. Hired a General Manager for the company.
Continued work started at Flemingdon Labs, including maintaining the
largest complete on-line Pathology database in Canada.
Named responsible for all system designs produced by the company. Also
managed entire project cycles, from concept to installation. Conducted
all system demonstrations and marketing support.
Recognition included lecturing at the Toronto Institute of Medical
Technology in Laboratory Computerization.
Designed and supervised the coding, testing, and installation of all of
the following laboratory system modules:

Flemingdon Medical Laboratories, Don Mills, Ontario.
Joined company as a programmer/analyst responsible for software tools
and system functions. Was entirely responsible for the introduction of
programming and documentation standards, and the development of a
production release system. Wrote a full-windowing application screen
handler which was later adopted as the company standard.
Re-designed a complete laboratory computer system to include both
private and hospital lab requirements. Supervised the work of five other
programmers. Hospital work included very active participation with user
committees at every phase of the project. Duties encompassed all facets
of project leadership, including system analysis, new employee hiring
and training, program design, documentation, and miscellaneous marketing
