CEEPS West 2006 Workshops

Our biggest drawing card is still our conference format.  However Virtual Space is a tough sell to the uninitiated: How do you promote a workshop-based symposium when no workshops or presenters are pre-announced?

2006 saw our introduction of what we called Enhanced Virtual Space.  Without compromising the power of creating sessions in-the-moment and in response to specific needs, we gathered a group of practitioners who were willing to commit to particular session topics ahead of time.  This helped with our overall CEEPS promotion, and allowed folks to see some names and faces of people they could expect to hear from at the conference.

The following is an overview of both those prepared sessions, and the sessions that were unveiled (and sometimes created!) on our first morning:
