CEEPS 2003 Participant
Comments
We think this conference is a must-attend event for all Canadian EE
practitioners - but don't take our word for it...

“CEEPS is an enjoyable and
healthy way to grow, give, and brighten my EE glow. I plan to bring
more of my team next year.” – Tim Arnold, The Frontier
Group
“Thanks for a superb learning experience.
Small is indeed beautiful. I was not expecting to get so much out
of this conference. Very good start. Now you have to do it
again!” - Bill Templeman, Ascent Associates
What did you gain from your conference
experience?
“New games, fresh look at my
programming for camp, serious things to look at in terms of risk, etc.,
better understanding of people who do this for a living, and I had a
blast!” – Sarah Hemingway, Camp Kahquah
“Inspiration. Knowledge.
Specific things to improve in my practice and business.”
– Andy Burnham, !mprov at Work
“Energized, great networking,
meeting with others, hearing about their issues. With respect to the
V-Space sessions – every session was exactly what I wanted and
valuable! (Just as promised.)” – Catherine Kurucz,
Thames Valley District School Board
“Energy, ideas,
revitalization, friendship, networking.” – Veronica
Uzielli, contract facilitator
What
did you think of Bark Lake as our conference site?
“I thought it was amazing.
It had the right energy for a conference of this size and in this field.
I would definitely continue to host it in a similar setting. I like the
set up for sessions and the rooms were great. The food was good for
what I was expecting.” - Claudia Valle, Niagara Training
& Employment Agency
“Superb for the culture of EE
practitioners. This is a crowd who does not need 5-star gourmet
food or rooms. Nor do most of us have the discretionary money to
pay for same. Far better to spend the money on speakers and
learning.” -
Bill Templeman, Ascent Associates
What would you tell your peers and colleagues?
“If you don’t go, you’re
missing out on a great experience that can’t be repeated.”
– Sarah Hemingway, Camp Kahquah
To paraphrase Margaret Mead:
“Never doubt that a small group of caring, enthusiastic, energetic
citizens can change the world; it is the only thing that ever has.”
– Scott Read, Bark Lake Leadership Centre
“It’s a great opportunity to
put yourself into an “experiential” process; to take responsibility for
your learning.” – Veronica Uzielli,
contract facilitator
“Come! Please! It’s great
and we need you!” – Catherine Kurucz,
Thames Valley District School Board
